Spark is built by a single indie developer, and I take your privacy seriously. Here’s a plain explanation of what happens with data when you use the app.

Data collection

Spark doesn’t collect or store any personal data about you. Your habits, streaks, and settings stay on your device and sync privately through your own iCloud account, so I never see them.

A couple of third-party services help the app run, though:

TelemetryDeck collects anonymous telemetry so I can understand app performance and usage patterns. This data contains nothing that could identify you personally.
RevenueCat helps manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. It doesn’t process payments itself, just facilitates purchase information.
Apple securely handles all purchases and subscriptions through the App Store. I never see your payment details.

I don’t share any user data with third parties. The services above may process anonymized data according to their own privacy policies, linked below each one.

Cookies & tracking

Spark doesn’t use cookies or any other tracking technologies.

Legal compliance

Since Spark doesn’t collect personal data, there’s little to comply with, but for the record:

GDPR - no personal data is collected, so no consent is required.
CCPA - no personal information is collected, sold, or shared.
App Store Guidelines - Spark follows Apple’s privacy and security requirements.

Your rights

Since there’s no personal data stored, there’s nothing to access, change, or delete on my end. If you have any concerns, reach out and I’ll do my best to help.
